Guidelines to improving archives information management of universities in Guangxi

The objectives of this research were: 1) To study the current situation of archives information management of universities in Guangxi. 2) To develop guidelines to improving archives information management of universities in Guangxi.
3) To evaluate the suitability and feasibility of guidelines to improving the archives information management of universities in Guangxi. The sample group of this study was 196 archival administrators from 10 public undergraduate universities in Guangxi. Research Instruments include: 1) Questionnaire, 2) Structured Interview, 3) Evaluation form. This study used a mixed research method that combines quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The results were found that: 1) The current situation of archives information management of universities in Guangxi was at a medium level. 2) The guidelines to improving archives information management of universities in Guangxi have five
aspects, which contain 23 measures. 3) The suitability and feasibility of guidelines to improving archives information management of universities in Guangxi from five aspects were at highest level.
