The objectives of this research were 1) To study the current situation, expected situation, and influencing factors of the sustainable development of entrepreneurship among students in higher vocational colleges; 2) To formulate educational management strategies aimed at promoting the sustainable development of entrepreneurship among students in higher vocational colleges, 3) To evaluate the adaptability and feasibility of educational management strategies designed to promote
sustainable entrepreneurial development among students in higher vocational colleges. This research was mix method The sample for this study included 10 vocational colleges in Guangdong Province, with a total of 400 students. Additionally, 12 experts were interviewed, 12 experts participated in focus group discussions, and 5 experts evaluated the strategies. All experts had over 10 years of experience in vocational education, and purposive sampling was employed for selection. The
research instruments included: 1) questionnaires, 2) interviews, 3) strategic frameworks, and 4) evaluation forms. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviations, the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified), and content analysis
The research results indicate that: 1) Studying the current situation, expected
situation and influencing factors of sustainable development of entrepreneurship
among students in higher vocational colleges. 2) Educational management strategies to
fromote sustainable entrepreneurial development among higher vocational students
were formulated. These strategies encompassed nine factors and twenty-four specific
measures, including entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial teams, entrepreneurial
practice, financial support, entrepreneurial skills, market environment, educational and
management environment, policy and legal environment, and family environment.
3) The educational management strategies designed to promote sustainable
entrepreneurial development among higher vocational students were evaluated. The
evaluation results reveal that the adaptability and feasibility of these strategic
measures have reached high to the highest levels, suggesting that the strategies were
both adaptable and feasible.
