The research objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current situation of administrators’ leadership of universities in Guangxi, 2) to propose and create the
strategies for improving administrators’ leadership of universities in Guangxi, and 3) to evaluate the feasible of strategies for improving administrators’ leadership of universities in Guangxi were included 5 following aspects: 1) Setting role models, 2) Fostering commitment, 3) Providing individual supports, 4) Intellectual stimulation, 5) Holding high performance expectations. The sample group in this research were 233 mid-level administrators from 5 universities in Guangxi. The research instruments were
questionnaire, interview form and evaluation form, which analyzed the data by using
percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The research results found that the administrators’ leadership of universities in
Guangxi was at medium level. Considering the result of the study aspects ranged from
the highest level to the lowest level were as follow: the highest level was intellectual
stimulation, followed by fostering commitment, and setting role models was the lowest
level. The strategies for improving administrators’ leadership of universities in Guangxi
included 5 strategies with 17 measures. The feasible evaluation of the strategies for
improving administrators’ leadership of universities in Guangxi are the highest level.
