บทคัดย่อ
	The objectives of this study are to find the balanced cost of living of non-commissioned police officers and to find factors affecting such cost of living with 7 hypotheses :
1. Different personal status makes difference in the police’s balanced cost of living.
2. Good work status affects the police’s balanced cost of living
3. Being self reliance affects the police’s balanced cost of living
4. Sufficient living behavior affects the police’s balanced cost of living
5. Good family relations affects the police’s balanced cost of living
6. Life learning behavior affects the police’s balanced cost of living
7. Religious behavior affects the police’s balanced cost of living
To obtain empirical data to test the above hypotheses, questionnaires are administered to 204 non-commissioned police officers of all 11 stations of the Metropolitan Police Division 8.
The data are then calculated and analyzed.
It is found that only the first hypothesis is substantiated. The rest are too weak correlated to accept the hypotheses. After a lengthy discussion concerning the impact of the study to the police’s cost of
living, some interesting suggestions are proposed, theoretically and practically.
