	A comparative study of Thai reading comprehension of prathom six student by using SQ4R teaching method and teaching method of the techer's manual, and student's opinions for the SQ4R teaching method
บทคัดย่อ
	The purposes of this study were to compare Prathom 6 Students's Thai language
reading comprehension between the SQ4R teaching method and the method in the
teacher's manual,and to study opinions of the students who study through the SQ4R
teaching method.
Through simple random sampling, forty four students were randomly selected from
Prathom 6 students in the first semester of 2004 academic year at Sakol Suksa Bangkae
School in Bangkok. The experimental group was taught by the SQ4R teaching method;
whereas the control group was taught by the method in the teacher's manual. Each group  was taught with the same content for twenty periods. The instruments used son plans for SQ4R teaching method, 
lesson plans for the method of the teacher's  manual , reading comprehension test and the questionnaires of student opinions taught by SQ4R teaching method . The data was statistically analysed by t-test for Indepen Samples.
The finding of the study revealed that:
was significant difference in Thai language reading comprehens
the experimental and control groups at the .01 level.
The opinion of the students in the experimental group taught by
teaching method was at the good level.
